Find the gaps before someone else does
An audit is far less painful when it’s your own. We review your WHS system and your workplace with the same rigour a regulator, certification body or major client would apply, then tell you plainly what’s working, what isn’t and what to do about it.
Our reports focus on risk. Rather than a long list of minor observations, you get findings ranked by importance, with practical recommendations that fit your business. Where it helps, we work with your team to close them out.
Every audit includes
- Agreed scope and criteria before we start
- Document review, site inspection and interviews
- Findings ranked by risk
- Practical, achievable recommendations
- A close-out meeting with your management team

What makes our audits different
- Qualified. Karim is a certified lead auditor for ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
- Experienced. More than 20 years in high-risk industries means we know what good practice looks like in the field, not just on paper.
- Tested. As a WHS expert witness, Karim sees how WHS failures are examined after an incident, and audits with that standard in mind.
- Practical. Recommendations are written for your business size and resources.
- Straightforward. We report what we find, clearly and without jargon.
How it works
How an audit works
Scope
We agree the audit criteria, sites, activities and timing.
Review
We examine your documents and records before arriving on site.
Inspect and interview
We inspect the workplace and talk to managers, supervisors and workers.
Report and close out
You receive a clear report with prioritised actions, and we can support the close-out.
What’s the difference between an audit and an inspection?
An inspection checks physical conditions at a point in time, such as housekeeping, guarding, access and PPE. An audit goes deeper, testing whether your system, processes and records are working as intended. Most businesses benefit from both.
How long does an audit take?
A site inspection for a small workplace can take a few hours. A full system audit may take several days including reporting. We’ll confirm the effort involved when we agree the scope.
Can you audit our contractors?
Yes. We review contractor WHS systems before engagement or after an incident, and can carry out site audits of contractor work on your behalf.
Who sees the audit report?
Our reports are confidential to you, and we don’t share them without your consent. If legal privilege is a concern, for example after a serious incident, speak to your lawyer first. They can engage us directly so the work is carried out under privilege where appropriate.
